Couples Intensive Therapy

Jumpstart your relationship.

You may have arrived here because…

  • You’re struggling with communication, you feel unheard and lonely and everyday conversations turn into arguments.

  • You’re constantly arguing about the same topics, you can’t reach a compromise and nothing ever gets resolved.

  • You’ve lost the intimacy and it feels like you’re roommates rather than partners, you barely have sex anymore.

  • You feel like you can no longer trust each other, you feel like your partner has betrayed you and there are unresolved problems from the past.

  • You’re struggling with either sex, finances, house responsibilities, parenting or in-law issues.

  • You want to jumpstart your relationship with focused, concentrated time to finally get unstuck.

I’m glad you’re here. Here’s how couples intensive therapy can help you.

Why couples intensive therapy?

Couples intensive therapy offers a different pace and depth compared to standard weekly sessions. Instead of spreading the work out over time, it creates a focused, contained space where couples can step out of their day-to-day patterns and engage more fully with the underlying issues.

  • Extended sessions (full-day format)
Rather than 50 minute sessions, intensives allow for longer, uninterrupted time together. This creates space to slow things down, move beyond surface-level conversations, and stay with important moments without having to stop and reset each week.

  • Faster pattern interruption
Repeating cycles of conflict often continue in weekly therapy simply because there isn’t enough time to fully enter and work through them. In an intensive, these patterns can be observed, interrupted, and worked with in real time, allowing couples to experience alternatives more directly.

  • Deeper emotional processing
With more time available, there is greater capacity to explore the emotional layers beneath the conflict—such as hurt, fear, longing, or protection. This allows for more meaningful repair work rather than only focusing on communication strategies.

  • Less time lost between sessions
Weekly therapy can involve restarting each time, with momentum often fading between appointments. An intensive reduces this gap, helping couples stay engaged in the process and maintain emotional continuity throughout the work.
